ProFlute desiccant rotors are designed for high performance and long life.

The PPH rotor is designed for use in environments where enhanced bacteriostatic properties is desired.

To protect the integrity of our customers ProFlute holds patents on the unique manufacturing process of the PPH rotor.The process makes it possible to closely tailor the capacity and other carateris- tics of the rotor.

The capacity, pressure drop and other caracteristics of the ProFlute PPH rotor can easily be calculated in our software program, which is distributed to all regular customers.

PPH Desiccant Rotor Properties

Material Composition : The PPH rotor has a very high, 81%, active SilicaGel content, 2% Lithium Chloride,<0,1% additive to restrain microbiological growth and 15% glass fibre content. The remaining 2% is the Acrylic surface coating.

Fire resistance : The PPH rotor has been tested according to ASTME test E-84 and achieved a flame index of 0 and a smoke produced of 0.

Technical properties : The rotor should not be exposed to a relative humidity ex- ceeding 95% when not in operation. The PPH rotor can be washed in water with weak non-alkaline detergent, after saturation in humid air. After washing the rotor must be re-impregnated by ProFlute.

Physical properties : The density of dry material is approx. 240 kg/m3.
In a humid environment the PPH media can pick up approx. 40% of it’s dry weight as moisture.
The surface compression strength of the rotor is more than 200 kPa.
